Egyptian Ministry of Health confirms: Vaccinations are essential for all ages, not just children
The official spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that receiving vaccinations and vaccines is not limited to children in their early stages of life, but is a necessary preventive measure available to all citizens of all ages.
The spokesperson explained that the goal of these campaigns is to strengthen community immunity against infectious diseases, noting that there are specific vaccines suitable for the elderly and those with chronic diseases, in addition to seasonal vaccines that help prevent colds and influenza.
Through these statements, the Ministry of Health seeks to raise health awareness among citizens and correct misconceptions that link vaccinations only to childhood, emphasizing that prevention is better than cure at all stages of life.
The Ministry calls on all citizens to visit their nearest medical center or health unit to inquire about the available vaccines that suit their health condition, in order to ensure the preservation of public health and reduce the chances of contracting various diseases.
This step comes within the framework of the Egyptian state's plan to develop the health system, focus on the preventive aspect to reduce pressure on hospitals, and provide a better healthy life for all members of society.
