New agricultural project to support 200,000 farmers in Egypt
The Agricultural Research Center in Egypt has announced the launch of a new project titled "Agri-Tech for Egypt." This project aims to provide technical and financial support to 200,000 farmers across various governorates of the country, as part of the state's efforts to develop the agricultural sector.
The project relies primarily on the use of innovative technological solutions to help farmers cope with climate change, which affects crops. These modern technologies contribute to protecting agricultural lands from harsh weather conditions, ensuring continuous production throughout the year.
In addition to addressing climate change, the project focuses on reducing agricultural production costs by providing more efficient irrigation and fertilization methods. These steps are expected to lead to an increase in the quantity and quality of crops, which will benefit both the farmers and the Egyptian economy as a whole.
This initiative comes as part of a broader plan aimed at modernizing farming methods in Egypt. By training farmers to use modern tools, the Agricultural Research Center seeks to achieve an agricultural renaissance that will contribute to strengthening the country's food security in the future.
