The Third International Conference on One Health and Veterinary Innovations Kicks Off in Amman
The activities of the Third International Conference on One Health and Veterinary Innovations kicked off last Monday in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The conference is held under the patronage of Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, with wide participation from experts and scientists specializing in the fields of veterinary medicine and public health from various countries in the region.
The conference aims to highlight the concept of "One Health," a global approach that links human health, animal health, and the environment. Participants are discussing the importance of cooperation between these different sectors to prevent zoonotic diseases that may be transmitted from animals to humans, especially in light of the climatic and environmental changes the world is witnessing.
The conference also focuses on showcasing the latest innovations and scientific technologies in the field of veterinary medicine. This includes new methods for diagnosing and treating diseases, as well as improving the quality of animal production through safe and sustainable methods that ensure food safety for consumers.
This event is considered an important opportunity to exchange experiences among Arab countries, including Egypt, to enhance health and food security. The conference is expected to produce practical recommendations that contribute to the development of health and veterinary policies in the region, which will help in addressing future health challenges more effectively.
