Egypt condemns Iranian attacks, describing them as a dangerous escalation in the region
The Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemned, on Thursday, the Iranian attacks that targeted Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in an official statement that these actions represent a worrying development that threatens the security and stability of the region.
Egypt described these attacks as a dangerous escalation of regional tensions, emphasizing the necessity of exercising restraint and avoiding any steps that could lead to an increase in the intensity of conflicts. Cairo also called on all concerned parties to adhere to international laws and respect the sovereignty of neighboring states.
These statements come within the framework of Egypt's constant keenness to maintain the stability of the Middle East, as Egyptian diplomacy constantly seeks to bridge the views between Arab countries to ensure regional security and prevent sliding into wider military confrontations.
In concluding its statement, Egypt renewed its call for the international community to play its role in calming the situation, confirming that dialogue is the only way to resolve differences and ensure a safe and stable future for the peoples of the region.
