New International Funding to Support Egyptian Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
GlobalCorp for Financial Services has secured $15 million in funding, equivalent to approximately 795 million Egyptian pounds, from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
This new funding aims to enhance the company's capacity to provide more loans and financial services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Egypt. This step is part of international institutions' efforts to support the Egyptian economy and provide the necessary liquidity for emerging projects.
Small and medium-sized enterprises are a fundamental pillar of the Egyptian economy, as they contribute to creating new job opportunities and stimulating economic growth. This financial support is expected to help expand GlobalCorp's loan portfolio, allowing a larger number of business owners to obtain the financing they need to develop their projects.
This collaboration comes within the framework of the EBRD's strategy to strengthen the private sector in Egypt. This move underscores the confidence of international financial institutions in the stability of the Egyptian market and its ability to achieve sustainable growth by supporting vital sectors.
