Bibliotheca Alexandrina Concludes Educational Program for Child Protection and Providing a Safe Environment
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina recently concluded the activities of the "Saif Shield for Educational Institutions" program, as part of its ongoing efforts to support children and provide them with safe educational and pedagogical environments.
The program was organized by the library's Academic Research Sector, specifically through the Women's Studies and Social Transformation Program. The project aims to raise awareness within educational institutions on how to protect children from various risks and provide them with the necessary psychological and educational support.
The activities focused on training staff in educational institutions on the latest scientific methods for interacting with children and ensuring their safety within schools and educational centers. Participants also discussed the importance of creating a positive environment that helps children learn and grow healthily, free from any pressures.
This initiative comes as part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's cultural and social role in Egypt, as the library constantly strives to offer programs that serve the community and contribute to building a new generation that enjoys awareness and adequate protection.
At the conclusion of the program, the organizers emphasized the need to continue these efforts and expand their scope to include a larger number of educational institutions across Egypt's various governorates, to ensure a safe and stable educational environment for all children.
