Egypt and Italy Launch Mediterranean Technical Education Forum in the New Administrative Capital
The New Administrative Capital in Egypt hosted the activities of the "Mediterranean Technical and Vocational Education Forum," within the framework of joint cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit.
The forum witnessed high-level attendance, with the participation of Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, the Egyptian Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Professor Giuseppe Valditara, the Italian Minister of Education and Merit. The forum's activities continued over two days to discuss ways to develop technical education.
This event aims to enhance cooperation among Mediterranean countries in the field of vocational and technical education, and to exchange expertise between Egypt and Italy to develop educational curricula in line with the needs of the modern labor market.
This forum comes as an important step toward improving the quality of technical education in Egypt and providing better training and qualification opportunities for youth, which contributes to preparing human resources capable of competing in local and international markets.
It is noteworthy that this cooperation reflects the strong relations between the two countries in the education sector and confirms the Egyptian state's keenness to benefit from successful international experiences to develop the technical and vocational education system in the country.
