Palestinian Embassy in Cairo Announces New Procedures for Emergency Medical Cases
The Palestinian Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt has announced a set of new procedures regarding the reception and treatment of emergency medical cases arriving from the Gaza Strip. This step aims to organize the entry process for patients and facilitate their access to the necessary healthcare in Egyptian hospitals more quickly and efficiently.
The embassy clarified that citizens wishing to benefit from these services must submit a set of required official documents. These papers include a detailed medical report accurately describing the patient's health condition, in addition to an official decision from the hospital confirming the need to admit the patient and provide treatment at its facilities.
The embassy also emphasized the necessity of attaching a clear copy of the patient's passport or personal identity card to ensure the swift completion of administrative procedures. These directives come within the framework of ongoing coordination between the Palestinian authorities and the relevant Egyptian entities to ensure the provision of medical support to patients in light of the difficult circumstances they are experiencing.
The embassy calls on all applicants to adhere to these instructions and submit the required documents in full to avoid any delays in processing. The embassy affirms that it is working at full capacity to provide all possible facilities to patients, expressing its appreciation for the significant Egyptian efforts in receiving medical cases and providing them with healthcare.
