Egypt Enhances Innovation and Technology in Education, Agriculture, and Industry
Egypt is currently witnessing significant activity in the fields of technology and innovation, as the government and the private sector have launched several projects and conferences aimed at developing the national economy. These efforts focus on improving the quality of technical education, supporting farmers, and enhancing local industry using the latest global technologies.
In the education sector, the activities of the fifth edition of the "EDU TECH" forum for technical education and vocational training have commenced. This forum aims to connect students with the labor market and provide them with the necessary practical skills. Additionally, the New Administrative Capital hosted the Mediterranean Technical Education Forum in cooperation with Italy, while Elsewedy University of Technology launched events to promote digital innovation and energy automation.
In the field of agriculture, the "AgriTech4Egypt" project has begun to support 200,000 Egyptian farmers. The project provides smart solutions to address climate change, reduce production costs, and increase crop yields. In a related context, the Minister of Supply inaugurated the "Grain Tech" exhibition with the participation of 125 countries, serving as an international platform for developing grain industry technology and signing new export contracts.
On the industrial front, Egypt witnessed the launch of "Raedbots," the first Egyptian factory specializing in the production of industrial robots. In the energy sector, the Ministry of Electricity is studying the establishment of an integrated renewable energy project in Sinai in cooperation with an international alliance, which enhances Egypt's position in the field of clean energy.
