New Agreement to Enhance Economic Cooperation Between Egypt and Africa
The Egyptian Council for International Business Cooperation (ECIC) recently concluded a series of successful strategic meetings in Tunisia. The Egyptian delegation was led by Engineer Moataz Raslan, Chairman of the Council, with the aim of exploring new ways to develop economic and trade relations. This step comes as part of Egypt's continuous efforts to strengthen its economic ties with the countries of the African continent.
During these meetings, the Egyptian Council signed an important meeting minutes agreement with the International African Business Council. This agreement focused on establishing a clear action plan to increase joint investments and facilitate trade movement between Egyptian companies and their counterparts in Africa. Both parties also discussed the challenges facing investors and how to overcome them to encourage capital flow.
Engineer Moataz Raslan explained that cooperation with the Tunisian side represents an important strategic step toward accessing the continent's markets. He pointed out that the primary goal is to create a strong economic environment that supports the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It was also agreed to organize joint trade events and exhibitions in the near future to introduce investors to the opportunities available in the industrial and technology sectors.
In conclusion, these moves demonstrate Egypt's firm desire to play a leading role in achieving economic development within the African continent. These new partnerships are expected to contribute to opening new markets for Egyptian products, thereby supporting the national economy, providing new job opportunities, and enhancing Egypt's position as a regional trade hub connecting North Africa with the rest of the continent.
