Titan Egypt signs agreement to build a solar power plant in Beni Suef
Titan Cement Egypt has announced the signing of a long-term agreement with SolarizEgypt to establish a new solar power generation plant in the Beni Suef Governorate.
The new plant will have a production capacity of 11.45 megawatts, and this step is set to support the company's shift toward relying on renewable and clean energy sources in its industrial operations.
This agreement comes within the framework of Egyptian companies' efforts to reduce carbon emissions and rely on solar energy, which helps save on traditional energy costs and improve production efficiency within cement plants.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy followed by Egypt to increase reliance on green energy, in line with the country's vision to achieve sustainable development across various industrial and economic sectors.
Work on the construction of the plant is expected to begin soon, reflecting the ongoing cooperation between the private sector in Egypt to strengthen the country's renewable energy infrastructure.
