Egypt demands full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and calls for accelerating aid entry
The Egyptian state continues its intensive diplomatic efforts to reach a solution to the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. In its recent statements, Cairo reiterated its demand for a full Israeli withdrawal from the Strip as an essential step to end tensions in the region.
These demands come within the framework of Egypt's commitment to protecting Palestinian civilians and ensuring the stability of the security situation. The Egyptian government emphasizes that the continuation of military operations hinders the chances for peace and increases the suffering of the population, who are facing extremely difficult living conditions.
In addition to the demand for withdrawal, Egypt stressed the importance of increasing the pace of humanitarian aid entering Gaza. Cairo calls on the international community to exert pressure to open all land crossings to ensure the sustainable delivery of food, medicine, and fuel in sufficient quantities to meet the needs of those affected.
Egypt considers reaching a comprehensive agreement to be the only way to end the current crisis. The Egyptian leadership continues to conduct communications with various regional and international parties with the aim of reaching a permanent ceasefire and easing the burdens on the Palestinian people.
