A 24-year-old Syrian immigrant woman has gone missing in the city of Almere, and police fear she may have been the victim of a serious crime. Authorities are urgently searching for the immigrant Omar Alhamd (34 years old) in connection with her disappearance.
The young woman was last seen around 10 AM on Thursday at the Albert Heijn store on Olivier van Noord Street. The police believe she got into a car with the migrant Omar Hamad and has not been seen since.
It is known that Al-Hamd drives a gray Peugeot 307 SW with the license plate 36-LH-RN, but investigators warn that he may have used another car. He is described as having a strong build, short dark hair, and brown skin.
The missing young immigrant is slim and was wearing a black cloak with white stripes and light-colored sneakers on the day she disappeared.
The police released photos of both individuals on Sunday and did not disclose the nature of the relationship between the young woman and the immigrant Omar Al-Hamd.
