Devastating floods in Nepal: hundreds dead and thousands missing
Nepal has experienced extremely serious natural disasters in recent days. Floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall have resulted in widespread destruction across the country, and authorities confirm that the death toll has risen significantly.
According to the latest information, rescue workers have recovered the bodies of 781 people from under the mud and water. The situation remains extremely difficult, as authorities report that more than 2,500 people are still missing.
Rescue efforts are continuing under difficult conditions, as many roads and bridges have been destroyed by the floods. This hinders the delivery of aid to the most remote areas, where the need for assistance is greatest. International aid organizations are monitoring the situation closely.
Although this is a distant event, the natural disaster has sparked widespread concern globally. Nepalese authorities are doing their best to find the missing, but weather conditions and the difficult terrain are significantly slowing down the search efforts.
