Defense technology is being tested in Arctic conditions in Northern Finland
The Griffin Tech Days 2026 event is currently being held in Northern Finland, focusing on testing the latest defense technology. The event is particularly important for Finnish special forces, as it provides an opportunity to test new innovations in demanding environments.
Finland's Arctic conditions place heavy demands on equipment. The tests utilize cold weather, where temperatures can drop to as low as -25 degrees Celsius. Such conditions are critical for ensuring the functionality and reliability of technology even in extreme situations.
According to the Finnish Defence Forces, the event is a significant step in developing Finnish defense capabilities. With the help of new technological solutions, special forces can improve their performance and react more quickly to changing challenges in northern regions.
Griffin Tech Days brings together industry experts and developers. Cooperation between various stakeholders helps to find solutions that meet the needs of today's security environment. The results of the event will directly influence the type of technology that will be used in Finland's defense in the future.
