Secto Rally Finland charity golf raises thousands of euros for youth
As part of the 75th anniversary program of Secto Rally Finland, a special charity event was held this year. The golf tournament, organized in Jyväskylä, raised a total of 8,067 euros to be donated to a local charity.
The funds raised will be directed to the Jyväskylä Girls' House (Jyväskylän Tyttöjen Talo). The Girls' House provides low-threshold support, recreational activities, and safe meeting places for young people in the area. The donation aims to support the important work the organization does to promote the well-being of young people.
The success of the event was the sum of many factors. According to the organizers, raising the funds was made possible especially thanks to the participating players, corporate partners, and volunteers. The collaboration demonstrated how sporting events can serve as a platform for social impact.
Secto Rally Finland is one of the most significant sporting events in Finland, and its anniversary year has brought with it several side events. This charity golf tournament was one way to celebrate the rally's long history while giving back to the local community.
The Jyväskylä Girls' House, which received the donation, plans to use the funds to develop its operations. The event organizers thanked all the participants and expressed their hope that similar charity initiatives will continue in the years to come.
