Finnish health technology companies rely on the US market
The United States is currently the most important export destination for Finnish health technology companies. Many Finnish companies export their products and services to the US, and the country has long remained the most popular export market in the sector.
Business Finland expert Tarja Enala says that Finnish companies are not worried about the political or economic situation in the United States. Although the situation in the country may at times feel uncertain or erratic, companies see the market opportunities as greater than the risks.
Health technology is a significant export sector for Finland, and the large US market offers companies an opportunity for growth. Finnish innovations, such as digital health solutions and medical devices, have attracted a lot of interest from American customers.
Cooperation with the United States therefore continues to be active. Companies are monitoring the situation closely, but they are primarily focusing on their long-term goals and strengthening their market share in North America.
