Business Finland grants 1.3 million euros to TAMK research projects
Business Finland has granted significant funding to two separate projects at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK). The total amount of funding is 1.3 million euros, and it is directed at the so-called Research to Business program.
The primary goal of the program is to help researchers put academic inventions and solutions into practice. With the help of the funding, ideas generated during research work can be developed further into commercial products or services that benefit society and businesses.
This type of support is important, as it helps build bridges between the academic world and professional life. When higher education research is transformed into business, it creates new opportunities for economic growth and innovation in Finland.
TAMK has announced that it will use the funding for projects that focus on the commercialization of new solutions. The purpose of the projects is to ensure that research knowledge does not remain only in reports, but instead provides concrete benefits to the market.
Business Finland's support is part of a broader effort to strengthen Finnish expertise and competitiveness. The funding decision demonstrates that the research work carried out by higher education institutions is seen as a valuable foundation for future business.
