September ends on a warm note – summer-like weather continues for a little longer
September is turning into October, but summer-like weather has not yet left Finland. Throughout the weekend and into the beginning of the week, the weather has remained exceptionally warm for this time of year.
According to weather forecasts, temperatures will rise to as high as 15 degrees in many places on Monday. This is clearly warmer than usual, as the thermometer typically shows significantly lower readings at the end of September.
In addition to the warm weather, conditions will remain largely dry on Monday. The sun will shine in many areas, making the weather pleasant for outdoor activities. Rain is not expected in most of the country, so the day will be fair.
Although the summer-like temperatures are a delight to many, autumn is still advancing inevitably. Experts remind us that with the arrival of October, the weather pattern can quickly turn cooler and rainier, so it is worth enjoying these warm days while they last.
