Number of job vacancies increased in Finland in the spring
Slight growth can be seen in the Finnish labor market. According to recent statistics, the number of job vacancies rose slightly in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the previous year.
According to Statistics Finland, there were a total of 29,600 job vacancies in Finland between April and June. This is about two percent more than in the same period a year earlier, when there were 28,900 vacancies.
Although the growth is moderate, the figures reflect the state of the labor market during the spring and early summer. The development of the number of jobs is being monitored closely, as it is one of the key indicators when assessing the state of Finland's economy and employment.
The situation in the labor market is an important topic for many Finns, as it directly affects employment opportunities. Even though the change is small, it provides indications that companies still have a need for new labor.
