ARE implements a significant electrical system upgrade for a data center in the capital region
Finnish building services company ARE has begun an extensive project to upgrade the electrical systems of Verne's data center in the capital region. The core of the project involves the installation and modernization of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units.
Data centers require a highly stable and continuous electrical current to operate. The task of UPS systems is to ensure that the data center's servers remain running even during potential power outages or disturbances in the power grid. This is critical, as even a small interruption in power supply can cause major problems for digital services.
The project implemented by ARE is part of a broader effort to improve the operational reliability of data centers in Finland. As the amount of digital data grows, the importance of data centers for the functioning of society has increased, and therefore their electrical systems must be top-tier.
The project is a significant investment that strengthens the capital region's position as a hub for digital infrastructure. The work is currently underway and is expected to be completed according to the planned schedule.
