Business Finland grants 1.3 million euros to TAMK research projects
Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) has received significant funding for two new research projects. Business Finland has granted a total of 1.3 million euros to these projects to help transform scientific research into practical business and new innovations.
One of the funded projects focuses on the development of healthcare. The project aims to identify peripheral artery disease earlier and more accurately than is currently possible. With the help of new methods, patients can be directed to treatment faster, which improves the quality of care and helps prevent more serious health problems.
The purpose of Business Finland's funding is to support Finnish expertise and promote the utilization of research results in the market. The funding enables higher education institutions to develop solutions that are in demand both in Finland and internationally.
These projects are part of a broader effort to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions and the business sector. If successful, the research work can create new jobs and strengthen Finnish health technology expertise in the future.
