Ukraine develops new defense technology and seeks cooperation from Finland
Ukraine is currently actively developing new unmanned combat systems to defend itself against the Russian invasion. The use of robotics and various types of drones has become central to warfare, and the country is now investing heavily in modernizing its own defense industry.
As part of this development work, Ukrainian actors are seeking new international partners. Cooperation opportunities have also been explored in Finland, particularly in Tampere, which is known for its strong technological expertise and industry.
Finnish technological expertise and defense innovations are seen as significant in strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities. Cooperation could include, for example, technical development or the exchange of expertise, which helps Ukraine respond to the challenges brought by the war.
The situation in Ukraine remains difficult, and the country's defense industry is working closely to stay at the forefront of technological development. International cooperation is vital for Ukraine so that it can continue its effective defensive struggle using unmanned systems.
