Business Finland grants significant funding to Xamk for robotics development
Business Finland has granted over 700,000 euros in funding to the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk). The funding is intended for the development and research of new types of technologies.
At the heart of the project are humanoid robots, which are robots that resemble humans. Through them, researchers aim to determine how robotics can be utilized in the future in various fields, such as service work or industry.
Another important area of the funding is the development of recyclable materials. Xamk strives to find new, environmentally friendly solutions that support sustainable development and the circular economy in Finland.
This funding enables the university of applied sciences to continue its research work and strengthens Finland's expertise in the high-tech sector. The project combines technological innovation with ecological goals, which is important for the future of working life.
