Liisa Mäkelä appointed as the new Executive Director of Bocuse d’Or Academy Finland
Bocuse d’Or Academy Finland ry has appointed a new Executive Director. Liisa Mäkelä will start in the position, taking responsibility for the organization's administrative operations and development.
Bocuse d’Or is the world’s most prestigious culinary competition, often referred to as the Olympics of cooking. Finland has traditionally performed very well in the competition, and the organization's goal is to support Finnish top chefs in their preparation for international challenges.
In the role of Executive Director, Mäkelä will be responsible for the continuity of the organization's operations and cooperation with various stakeholders. Her task is to ensure that Finnish top gastronomy has the best possible conditions to succeed in future competitions.
