Wille Rydman appointed as the new Minister of Social Affairs and Health
A significant change has taken place in the Finnish government. Wille Rydman has begun his work as the Minister of Social Affairs and Health. He replaces his party colleague Kaisa Juuso in the position.
The change was confirmed in an official government statement. Kaisa Juuso has served in the role since the beginning of the government term, but now the responsibility for leading the ministry transfers to Rydman.
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is one of the most central ministries in the government. It is responsible for, among other things, healthcare reforms, social services, and the operations of wellbeing services counties. The change of minister has attracted attention, as the sector is currently in the midst of major changes.
Wille Rydman previously served as the Minister of Economic Affairs. His transition to the new role is part of the government's internal arrangements. The government will continue its work with these changes, with the goal of advancing the social and healthcare objectives outlined in the government program.
