Business Finland grants 1.3 million euros to Tampere University of Applied Sciences research projects
Business Finland has granted 1.3 million euros in funding to two projects at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK). The purpose of the funding is to support the transformation of research knowledge into practical business and to promote Finnish innovation activities.
One of the funded projects focuses on the development of healthcare. The goal of the project is to identify peripheral artery disease earlier and more accurately than at present. With the help of new methods, patients can be directed to treatment faster, which improves the quality of care and the prognosis.
The research projects combine expertise from higher education and the business world. Business Finland's funding enables researchers to develop solutions that have a direct impact on the health and well-being of Finns.
According to TAMK, the funding is a significant step towards new innovations. The projects are expected to produce new knowledge and technology that will benefit both healthcare professionals and patients in the future.
