Helsinki's Haartmaninkatu hospital building to be renovated – Bravida in charge of building services
The hospital building at Haartmaninkatu 3, located in Meilahti, Helsinki, is undergoing a major renovation. The building is an important part of Helsinki's healthcare infrastructure, and its renewal will improve the safety and functionality of the premises for the future.
Building services company Bravida has been selected as the contractor and will be responsible for the project's HVAC and electrical work. In addition, the company will handle the installation and renewal of the site's sprinkler systems, i.e., automatic extinguishing equipment.
Renovations of hospital buildings are demanding projects, as patient safety and strict hygiene standards must be taken into account with particular care. According to Bravida, the project is part of a broader development in which old hospital facilities are being modernized to meet today's requirements.
Work on the site has already begun, and the project is proceeding according to the planned schedule. The renovation is a significant investment that will ensure the hospital's technical systems operate reliably and energy-efficiently for decades to come.
Once the renovation is complete, the Haartmaninkatu facilities will offer better conditions for both staff and patients. The project is one of many renovations of public buildings currently underway in the capital region, aimed at improving the quality of the city's services.
