Indian Minister of Commerce seeks new cooperation opportunities with Finnish companies
India's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, has visited Finland to discuss closer cooperation. During his trip, the minister met with several Finnish technology and industrial companies.
The goal of the meetings is to strengthen the commercial relationship between the two countries. India is one of the world's fastest-growing economies, and Finnish companies possess a great deal of expertise that India needs for its own development.
The discussions placed particular emphasis on the importance of technology and industrial manufacturing. Finnish companies see the Indian market as attractive, as there is a huge demand in the country for new innovations and sustainable development solutions.
Both parties believe that closer cooperation can bring new jobs and investments to both countries. The visit is part of a broader effort to deepen economic relations between Finland and India in the coming years.
