Finland to begin satellite cooperation with its allies
Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen has announced that Finland will begin a new type of satellite cooperation together with its international allies. This project is part of Finland's effort to strengthen its security and defence capabilities in a changing global situation.
Satellites can be used to monitor the situation accurately in different parts of the world. Cooperation with allies means that Finland will have better access to satellite data and can share resources with other countries. This improves Finland's ability to detect potential threats and monitor the security situation in real time.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the project is an important step in developing Finland's defence cooperation. The information produced by satellites is extremely valuable in modern defence, as it helps authorities make quick and correct decisions. Cooperation with other countries also makes the system more cost-effective.
Finland has recently intensified its cooperation, particularly with NATO and other partner countries. The satellite cooperation is one concrete example of how Finland is integrating into the Western defence system. The project strengthens Finland's position and security in the long term.
