Finland and India strengthen cooperation in technology and space sectors
Finland is seeking new opportunities for cooperation with India. The countries are planning a closer partnership, particularly in the fields of space technology and clean technology. The goal is to strengthen trade and the exchange of expertise between the countries in the coming years.
The Finnish government sees great potential in the Indian market for Finnish expertise. Sustainable development and environmentally friendly solutions, in particular, are areas where Finnish companies have a lot to offer. Cooperation with India can open new doors for Finnish companies in one of the world's fastest-growing markets.
The space sector is one of the key areas of cooperation. Finland has strong technological expertise in utilizing satellites and space data, while India has emerged as a significant player in international space research. Cooperation between the countries in this field can promote scientific research and technological innovation on both sides.
These plans for cooperation come at a time when free trade negotiations between the European Union and India have faced challenges. However, Finland wants to continue an active dialogue with India on a bilateral basis. The goal is to create a stable foundation for a long-term partnership that benefits the economy and industry of both countries.
