Cycling: Yara Kastelijn to join Human Powered Health team in 2027
The world of women's cycling is preparing for a significant change. Dutch rider Yara Kastelijn has officially announced that she will leave her current team, Fenix-Premier Tech, to join the Human Powered Health squad starting in the 2027 season.
This transfer is highly anticipated by sports observers. Yara Kastelijn has delivered impressive performances in recent years. In 2026, she notably won the Vuelta a Burgos, a major victory that confirmed her status among the best climbers in the international peloton.
Beyond her victory in Spain, the rider achieved numerous podium finishes during the 2026 season. She finished in second place at the Itzulia Women and secured third place in another prestigious race. These consistent results make her a choice recruit for Human Powered Health, which is looking to strengthen its roster for upcoming competitions.
This team change marks a new milestone in the athlete's career. As women's cycling continues to professionalize and gain visibility, the recruitment of talents like Kastelijn demonstrates the growing ambition of teams on the world circuit.
Cycling fans will have to wait a little longer, however, to see the rider in her new colors. While waiting for 2027, Yara Kastelijn remains focused on her current goals with Fenix-Premier Tech to end her collaboration on a positive note.
