France national rugby team: what is the assessment after the Southern Hemisphere tour?
The French national rugby team has just concluded a series of three important matches in New Zealand and Australia. This tour was part of the first edition of the Nations Championship, a major international competition for world rugby.
For the head coach and his staff, these matches were the ideal opportunity to test new players and strengthen the group's cohesion. Several young talents had the chance to wear the blue jersey and show their potential against historic rugby nations.
On the field, Les Bleus had to face very high physical intensity. These confrontations allow the French team to gain experience and prepare for upcoming international fixtures with greater serenity.
The results of this tour are now being analyzed. The coaches will study individual and collective performances to decide which players will be recalled for the next national team gatherings.
This experience in the Southern Hemisphere is a key step for French rugby. It confirms the Federation's desire to keep the French team at the highest world level in view of future major tournaments.
