France Tourisme Tech: A New Call for Applications to Modernize the Sector
France remains one of the most important tourist destinations in the world. To maintain this position and modernize the sector, the Directorate General for Enterprises (DGE) has launched an ambitious program titled "France Tourisme Tech" (FTT). This project aims to support technological innovation in the field of travel.
The program has just officially opened its call for applications. It is primarily aimed at startups and innovative companies offering digital solutions to improve the traveler experience. The objective is to structure a genuine French ecosystem capable of meeting the new challenges of global tourism.
Selected companies will benefit from specific support from the State. This includes facilitated access to sector experts, strategic advice, and better market visibility. By bringing these technological players together, the government hopes to create synergy between young companies and major tourism groups.
This initiative is crucial for the French economy, as tourism represents a significant share of the gross domestic product (GDP). By encouraging "Travel Tech," France hopes not only to attract more visitors but also to offer smoother, more modern, and more environmentally friendly services.
Entrepreneurs interested in this program now have a few weeks to submit their application files. This project shows that the future of tourism in France will necessarily involve close collaboration between public institutions and innovators in the digital world.
