World Cup: A difficult first half for Les Bleus against England
This Saturday, the French national football team experienced an extremely complicated first half during the World Cup third-place play-off. Facing a highly offensive England side, the French players were quickly overwhelmed on the pitch.
The score is heavy at the break, with Les Bleus trailing 0-4. Observers describe a French team in great difficulty, unable to contain the opposition's attacks or build their own play during these first forty-five minutes.
This match, which was supposed to allow the French to end the competition on a positive note, has turned into a real physical and tactical challenge. The French defense suffered numerous errors, allowing the English to score on several occasions.
The coaching staff will urgently need to find tactical solutions and remobilize their players for the second half. The goal will now be to limit the damage and show a better side to honor the supporters present at the stadium and watching on their screens.
