Military support: France and Sweden to provide combat aircraft to Ukraine
As part of the international support provided to Ukraine, several European countries have made the decision to send significant aerial aid. France and Sweden have confirmed their participation in this military assistance program to strengthen Ukrainian defense capabilities.
In total, nearly 200 combat aircraft will be delivered by European nations. Among these aircraft will be Rafales, the pride of French aviation, as well as Gripens, Swedish fighter jets renowned for their efficiency and versatility.
This initiative marks an important step in the current conflict. By providing advanced aeronautical technologies, European countries aim to enable Ukraine to better protect its airspace and infrastructure in the face of repeated attacks.
The logistics of this aircraft transfer are complex and require adapted training for Ukrainian pilots. The French and Swedish governments are working in close collaboration with their international partners to ensure the rapid and secure deployment of these aircraft on the ground.
This military support is part of a comprehensive European Union strategy to stabilize the region. French authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, while reaffirming their diplomatic and material commitment to Ukraine.
