Open Politics: A new initiative to encourage civic engagement in France
The Fondation de France is currently supporting an innovative project called "Open Politics." The main objective of this initiative is to train French citizens in political engagement, in order to renew the country's ruling class.
The program offers training that is entirely free and open to everyone. One of the strengths of this approach is its non-partisan nature. This means that the instruction is not linked to any specific political party, thus ensuring a neutral and educational approach for participants.
The central idea is to allow new profiles to get involved in public life. By offering concrete tools and knowledge about how institutions function, Open Politics hopes to facilitate the emergence of a new generation of political leaders who are more representative of today's society.
This project responds to a growing need for democratic renewal in France. By encouraging citizens to better understand political issues, this training hopes to strengthen the bond between elected officials and the population, while fostering more active participation by the French people in public debate.
