France forecasts a record 102 million international visitors in 2025
France is set for a record year in tourism, welcoming around 102 million international visitors in 2025 — up from 100 million in 2024 and more than any other country in the world. Tourism revenue rose about 9% to an estimated €77.5 billion.
European visitors made up roughly three-quarters of overnight stays, with strong growth from the Gulf states and a sharp rebound from China.
Busy hotspots like Paris, the Alps and the Mediterranean coast mean higher demand for seasonal work, but also fuller trains, roads and city centres this summer.
