A Dragon Ball theme park could be coming to France
French fans of the famous Dragon Ball manga could soon enjoy a unique immersive experience. Discussions are underway to create a theme park dedicated to the universe created by Akira Toriyama. This ambitious project aims to transport visitors into the world of the famous Saiyan warriors, featuring sets inspired by the series' iconic locations.
Although the exact location has not yet been confirmed, the Paris region is often mentioned as a preferred destination for this type of infrastructure. The designers are imagining thrill rides, such as roller coasters that replicate aerial battles, as well as interactive zones that allow visitors to learn virtual combat techniques.
This project is part of a strong trend: the adaptation of Japanese pop culture licenses into physical experiences. If it proves successful, this park could become a major destination for tourists and manga culture enthusiasts in Europe. France, which is the second-largest consumer of manga in the world after Japan, represents a strategic market for investors.
For the moment, no official opening date has been announced. The organizers still need to finalize feasibility studies and obtain the necessary permits to begin construction. Fans will therefore need to be patient before they can explore the world of Son Goku close to home.
