France strengthens its position as a supplier to the United Nations
France reached a significant milestone on the international economic stage in 2025. The country now holds sixth place among the main suppliers to the United Nations (UN).
This performance reflects the dynamism of French companies, which secured $725 million in contracts with the international institution. This represents approximately 3% of the total volume of procurement carried out by the UN for its various missions around the world.
To support this success, the State's Economic Department works in close collaboration with Business France. Together, they assist French companies in better understanding calls for tenders and meeting the specific needs of the organization.
This commitment allows companies from France to diversify their activities and actively contribute to the humanitarian and logistical projects led by the United Nations. It serves as a strategic lever for France's economic influence abroad.
Looking ahead, French authorities hope to maintain this positive momentum. The goal is to continue facilitating access for national companies to international public procurement markets, thereby strengthening the French presence within global bodies.
