Cybersecurity: France facing the growing threat of cyberattacks
Cyberattacks have become a major concern for France. These acts, whether economic, criminal, or geopolitical in nature, now affect all sectors of society, ranging from private companies to the very heart of the State.
Faced with this proliferation of digital threats, experts are questioning what strategies should be adopted to better protect the country. Some specialists suggest drawing inspiration from the Swedish model, known as "total defense." This concept relies on comprehensive preparation involving not only the armed forces, but also all institutions and citizens.
The goal of such an approach would be to strengthen national resilience. In the event of a serious digital crisis, better coordination between the various actors would make it possible to maintain essential services and protect the country's strategic data against foreign intrusions.
The issue of cybersecurity has therefore become a matter of national sovereignty. As attacks become more frequent and more sophisticated, the French government must decide on the measures to take to secure its digital infrastructure in the face of tomorrow's technological challenges.
