Check your baby milk: Kaufland recalls 10 Aptamil and Milumil products
Kaufland is recalling certain batches of Aptamil and Milumil baby milk for a second time. Manufacturer Danone first recalled these batches in February 2026 after updated guidance on the safe limit for cereulid, a toxin that can cause vomiting and diarrhoea.
Kaufland said on Friday that a small number of products with affected best before dates still reached its shelves. They have now been removed from sale, but the retailer cannot rule out that customers bought them in the meantime.
What you should do: do not feed the affected products to your baby. Take them back to any Kaufland store and you will get the full price refunded, even without a receipt.
Affected products, identified by the barcode number (GTIN) on the pack: Aptamil Pronutra Pre 800 g (4056631001202), Aptamil Pronutra Pre 1200 g (4056631003701), Aptamil Pronutra 1 800 g (4056631001226), Aptamil Pronutra 2 800 g (4056631001240), Aptamil Pronutra 2 1200 g (4056631003725), Aptamil Pronutra 3 800 g (4056631001264), Aptamil Profutura Pre 800 g (4056631003435), Aptamil Profutura 1 800 g (4056631003459), Aptamil Profutura 2 800 g (4056631003473) and Milumil Pre 1200 g (4056631003961).
Only certain best before dates are affected. You can check your date on aptaclub.de and milupa.de or in the Kaufland notice. Products not on the recall list are not affected.
