Tesla expands offering: New Model Y Premium AWD from October 2025
The US electric car manufacturer Tesla has announced an expansion of its model range for the German market. Starting in October 2025, the new "Model Y Premium AWD" will be available, specifically targeting the high-performance electric SUV segment.
The new vehicle impresses with its remarkable technical specifications. With an output of 324 kilowatts, which corresponds to approximately 440 hp, the model positions itself in the upper tier of mid-size SUVs. With this, Tesla aims to further enhance both everyday usability and driving pleasure for its customers in Germany.
An important aspect for many buyers is range. According to the WLTP standard, the new Model Y is expected to achieve a range of up to 600 kilometers on a single battery charge. This makes the vehicle particularly attractive for longer journeys and underscores Tesla's ambition to make electromobility even more convenient for the mass market.
The entry-level price for the new model has been set at 53,990 euros. With this pricing strategy, the company intends to consolidate its market position in Germany and hold its own against growing competition from European and Asian automobile manufacturers.
Interested customers will have to be a little patient, however, as the official market launch is scheduled for autumn 2025. Experts are now eagerly observing how the new offering will be received by German drivers and whether it can further boost Tesla's sales figures.
