Newcastle United shows interest in BVB player Felix Nmecha
The English football club Newcastle United is reportedly planning to submit an official offer for midfielder Felix Nmecha. The 23-year-old is currently under contract with Borussia Dortmund and is a permanent member of the Bundesliga club's squad.
According to reports from Sky Sport, officials from England have a strong interest in signing the German international. Newcastle United wants to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season and sees Nmecha as a suitable addition to the midfield.
However, there are currently no signs of a sale on the part of Borussia Dortmund. The club's management is actually planning firmly with the player and does not want to let him go. Whether Newcastle United can change BVB's mind with a high transfer fee remains to be seen.
Felix Nmecha only moved from VfL Wolfsburg to Dortmund in the summer of 2023. During the past season, he repeatedly struggled with minor injuries, but was still able to make important contributions to BVB's game. Fans and experts are now watching with interest to see how the situation develops over the coming weeks.
