Newcastle United shows interest in BVB player Felix Nmecha
The English football club Newcastle United is apparently planning to sign Felix Nmecha. The midfielder is currently under contract with Borussia Dortmund. According to information from Sky Sport, the English side is preparing an official offer for the 23-year-old.
Felix Nmecha only moved from VfL Wolfsburg to BVB last summer. In Dortmund, he is expected to play an important role in midfield. Despite the great interest from the English Premier League, there are currently no signs that the club is prepared to let the player go.
Those in charge at Dortmund are firmly planning with Nmecha for the upcoming season. Selling the midfield star is currently not the goal of the club's management. It remains to be seen how high the offer from Newcastle will be and whether BVB might change its stance in the coming weeks.
The transfer market remains exciting for Bundesliga clubs at this stage. While Newcastle United wants to strengthen its team, Borussia Dortmund is focusing on keeping its squad together. Whether official negotiations between the two clubs will actually take place will become clear shortly.
