A 21-year-old man allegedly sexually harassed four girls aged 12 to 14 at the Bud Spencer Bad outdoor pool in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Baden-Württemberg. Police say the attacks happened Saturday in the adventure and fun pool area.
According to police, the suspect grabbed the girls’ buttocks and thighs and tried to pull down their bikini bottoms. In one case, he allegedly attempted to penetrate a girl’s genitals with his fingers. The girls fought back, forcing the man to let them go.
The suspect, a 21-year-old Afghan national, was arrested but later released under conditions. An arrest warrant was suspended, and he is now banned from all public swimming pools. Police confirmed he is currently free while the investigation continues.
Authorities have not ruled out more victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The Ellwangen public prosecutor’s office and Bud Spencer Bad staff were not immediately available for comment on the incident.
The case occurred at the Bud Spencer Bad, named after the Italian actor, in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The outdoor pool is a popular summer spot in Baden-Württemberg, drawing families and teens to its adventure and fun pool facilities.
