Newcastle United shows interest in BVB midfielder Felix Nmecha
The English football club Newcastle United is reportedly planning to sign Felix Nmecha. The midfielder is currently under contract with Borussia Dortmund. According to information from Sky Sport, the English side is currently preparing an official offer for the 23-year-old.
Felix Nmecha only moved from VfL Wolfsburg to BVB last year. In Dortmund, he is expected to play an important role in midfield. Despite the strong interest from the Premier League, there are currently no signs that the Bundesliga club is willing to let the player go.
The Borussia Dortmund management has emphasized so far that they want to keep Nmecha. A transfer would mean that BVB would have to restructure its squad once again shortly before the end of the transfer window. Whether Newcastle United can change the club's mind with a very high offer remains to be seen.
For Bundesliga fans, the situation remains exciting. Transfers of key German players to the English Premier League are frequent topics in the media. It is expected that there could be further talks between the two clubs in the coming days.
