German Dev Days 2026: Frankfurt remains the meeting point for the gaming industry
The German video game industry is already looking to the future. The specialist conference "German Dev Days" (GDD) will once again take place in Frankfurt am Main in 2026. This event is one of the most important meeting points for developers, designers, and producers of computer games in Germany.
The venue remains the well-known Saalbau Gallus. Here, experts come together to discuss new technologies, trends, and the economic situation of the industry. For many small and large studios, the conference is an important opportunity to establish contacts and exchange experiences.
A recent update is now drawing attention among professionals: the registration deadline has been officially extended. This gives interested participants and companies more time to plan their visit or presentations for 2026. This is particularly good news for young talents and start-ups, as preparing for such events often takes a lot of time.
In recent years, Frankfurt has established itself as a central location for the gaming industry in Germany. In addition to internationally known companies, there are many medium-sized businesses and creative teams in the region. The German Dev Days support this location and promote cooperation within the German developer scene.
Overall, the early preparations for 2026 show that the German gaming industry remains optimistic despite global challenges. The conference in Frankfurt will continue to be an important building block for the success of digital innovations from Germany in the future.
