German Dev Days 2026: Important Games Conference in Frankfurt Extends Registration Deadline
The German video game industry is already looking ahead to a major event in 2026. The professional conference "German Dev Days" (GDD) will once again take place in Frankfurt am Main for its next edition. The Saalbau Gallus will serve as the venue again, having proven itself in the past as an ideal meeting point for experts and up-and-coming talent.
There is currently important news for interested participants: the organizers have extended the registration deadline. This gives developers, artists, and programmers more time to plan their attendance at the conference. The GDD is considered one of the most significant platforms for exchange within the German-speaking developer scene.
The event focuses on various workshops, lectures, and discussion rounds. These cover not only technical aspects of game development but also economic topics and creative processes. In Frankfurt, participants have the opportunity to make valuable contacts and learn about the latest industry trends.
The importance of such meetings for Germany as a business location is significant. Since competition in the international market is strong, networking helps local studios remain competitive. Furthermore, thanks to its central location in Germany, Frankfurt offers excellent accessibility for visitors from across the country.
In summary, preparations for German Dev Days 2026 are already in full swing. The extension of the registration deadline is a positive signal for anyone who was still undecided. The conference is expected to once again attract numerous professional visitors to the Hessian metropolis in 2026.
