New IT Chief at Hymer: Focus on Artificial Intelligence
The well-known motorhome manufacturer Hymer has made an important personnel decision for its digital future. Carsten Priebs is taking over as head of the company's IT department effective immediately. He is moving from the chemical company Biesterfeld to the vehicle manufacturer based in Bad Waldsee.
Priebs' main task will be the modernization of IT structures at Hymer. A central point of his work is the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA. This system is intended to help make the company's internal processes more efficient and faster.
In addition to the software transition, the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) also plays a decisive role. Hymer wants to make production and administration future-proof through the use of modern technologies. Priebs brings extensive experience from his previous work to this role.
